A mother, who was enjoying a lovely day out with her two young children, was sexually assaulted by a man who approached her around 2:20 pm. The suspect, who is believed to be in his late teens, briefly spoke to the woman before carrying out the assault and then fled the scene.
Described as around 6 feet tall and of a slim build, the suspect was wearing a distinct outfit consisting of a burgundy hoodie with white writing, blue tracksuit trousers, and black trainers. After the attack, he made a run towards Canterbury Road, leaving the victim in a state of shock and trauma. The Metropolitan Police has now released an E-fit of the suspected attacker and is appealing to the public for any information that could lead to his identification and arrest.
Detective Constable Tom Green, from the local policing team, expressed concern for the community and the victim, stating that the assault has caused a lot of worry, especially as it happened while the woman was playing with her children. He urged the public to closely examine the E-fit and the suspect's clothing and report any relevant information to the police. He also reassured the community that their safety is of utmost importance and encouraged anyone with concerns to approach the officers.
