Jean Noisette, the founder and CEO of Dazzle Me Parties, is passionate about helping young girls. She has always had a strong desire to make a difference in the lives of children. Her initial idea was to establish a mobile spa for children to provide a safe space and the opportunity to learn etiquette skills. This eventually evolved into the event planning company, Dazzle Me Parties.

Noisette’s event planning career began with children’s parties. After a successful job planning an event for hip-hop mogul T.I. and his wife, Tiny Harris, she began receiving requests to plan adult events as well. She used her experience and skills from working with children to launch successful events for adults.

The name of Noisette’s event planning company was inspired by her desire to make girls feel special. The mission of Dazzle Me Parties is to “help, cater, and mentor – just creating experiences,” as Noisette told Black Enterprise. She offers a wide variety of events catering to different ages and industries, to ensure she is “always in a creative space.”

Noisette also oversees a mentorship program called Dazzle Me Dolls, which embodies the characteristics she encourages in young girls. Through this program, the girls have an opportunity to work and grow as individuals and potential business owners. One of the Dazzle Me Dolls, Cintia, is a Spelman College graduate and former U.S. Marine. She has returned to the Dazzle family to help prepare young girls for college.

Noisette offered advice for aspiring business owners: “Keep going, work hard, and stay consistent. The results aren’t going to come right now, but they will come. You have to give it time, put in the work, and just watch it manifest.” She attributes her tenacity to being a mother, saying, “Being a mother always takes me back to my children and how I would want grace applied to them. You try to separate being a mother, but you just can’t in business.”

Noisette has an impressive list of A-list clients, such as Tammy and rapper Waka Flocka, whom she organized a vow renewal ceremony for, as well as Mariah Carey and the 7Atlanta Housewives. She calls weddings the most memorable events, saying, “The ones that allow us to not only cater to them but make sure that their guests have memorable experiences as well because that’s what our company stands for.”

Noisette gives three key tips to success and keeping clients happy: professionalism, organization, and having a strong team. She also says it is important to have passion and love for what you do, as it can be discouraging at times.

Dazzle Me Parties will also begin hosting classes focusing on navigating the event industry and self-care throughout the process. For more information, visit dazzlemeparties.com, @dazzlemeparties on Instagram, or Dazzle Me Parties on Facebook.
