MLAs hold meeting with forest officials

Virajpet, Jul. 11: MLA and Chief Minister's Legal Advisor Ajjikuttir S. Ponnanna held a special meeting with senior officials of the Forest Department at the Virajpet Taluk Office Hall.

The MLAs informed the officials about the ongoing animal-human conflict across the constituency and the development work being undertaken by the government on the forest fringes and gave several instructions. They also discussed the burning issues in the constituency with the officials.

State Wildlife Board member Sanket Poovaiah, Deputy Commissioner Venkatraja, Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Anand Prakash Meena, Tahsildars of the constituency, District Guarantee Implementation Authority Chairman Dharmaja Uthappa, senior forest officials, zonal forest officers and staff were present on the occasion.
