Bhopal was shaken on Friday night as a man allegedly stabbed another person following an argument over a woman in Jahangirabad. The victim, 24-year-old Jagdish Ahirwar, was an employee of a private company.
According to police, Jagdish had gone to visit his relative in Ravidas Colony in Jahangirabad when the incident took place. He had reportedly been admiring a woman residing in the locality, when another man named Vishal Ahirwar, who was also admiring the same woman, got into an argument with Jagdish.
The argument soon turned violent and Vishal flashed a knife and stabbed Jagdish, leaving him with wounds on his neck and cheeks. He was immediately taken to the hospital by his family. The police was informed of the event and Vishal was arrested on Saturday morning. He was booked on charges of attempted murder.
