Man faces court on charges related to shooting spree in Liverpool.
Leslie Garrett, a 49-year-old man from Ternhall Road in Liverpool, was brought to court on Saturday following a series of shootings across Liverpool.

The gun was first fired at the News and Booze corner shop, known as Sangha newsagents to locals, at 8.30pm on Wednesday night. After this, a further 20 minutes later, staff at a Showcase Cinema on Stonedale retail park were threatened and the gun was fired into the air.

Garrett was charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, two counts of possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, and one count of attempted robbery. He was also charged with possession of ammunition without a certificate.

At Liverpool Magistrates' Court, he was ordered to appear in custody at Liverpool Crown Court on February 5. No-one was injured in the shootings.
