The town of Brookside is buzzing with excitement as news spreads of Tinhead's unexpected appearance in Hollyoaks next week. It's been just a few months since the two beloved soaps joined forces for Hollyoaks' 30th anniversary, bringing back fan-favorite characters from the iconic Close neighborhood. This monumental crossover event marked the return of Brookside, which had been off the air for 20 years since its cancellation in 2003. The historic episode revealed a shocking connection between Hollyoaks' detective Donny Clark and his Brookie counterpart Mick Johnston, played by the talented Louis Emerick. And now, with the official merging of these two soapy worlds, it's no surprise that we'll be seeing more Brookside characters making their way to Hollyoaks.

As Sienna heads to the allotment to take out her frustration on Jez Blake's shed, she's shocked to find Tinhead lurking around. But why is he there? And what does it have to do with Jez, the notorious serial killer?
Meanwhile, Theresa is worried that her ex Dodger may still have feelings for Cleo, who has just moved into the Blakes' house. But Cleo reassures her that Dodger is completely devoted to Theresa. At school, Dee Dee gets into trouble for not completing her coursework and Ant stands up for her, resulting in both of them being given detention. And on the other side of town, Misbah and Vicky are visited by the police, who are suspicious of Donny's involvement in a wider corruption scheme. Misbah soon discovers that Donny had spent the night in a cell and recalls the hidden money, adding to the chaos of the week.
For Sienna, it's a particularly traumatic week as her baby Joseph falls to the floor while Cleo is asleep. Cleo, who has been struggling with postpartum psychosis, blames Sienna for her exhaustion and lashes out, causing Sienna to retaliate and ultimately get kicked out by Cleo. As Sienna spends the night in the McQueens' backyard and seeks help from Misbah, she starts to question why Cleo is treating her so poorly. And it looks like Nikki Shadwick won't be too far behind, as she befriends Mercedes McQueen at a rehabilitation facility.
