Luke is offered an endless supply of kebab meat!
Darts champ Luke Littler has been offered something truly remarkable in the aftermath of the World Darts Championship final. At just 16 years of age, he's become an overnight sensation and taken the internet by storm as the youngest finalist in the Championship.

And while he finished as runner-up when Luke Humphries took the 7-4 win at Alexandra Palace, Littler from Runcorn has been inundated with opportunities thanks to his favourite roasted meaty meal: kebabs.

It recently emerged that the darts star enjoys a kebab after every match, celebrating his victories in super chilled style at a kebab house that is metres from the London hotel where he stayed during the tournament.

This has caught the attention of Iceland bosses, as their frozen food sales have reached new heights. Customers in particular were big fans of their popular Grill House Doner Kebab range in the run-up to Littler’s World Championship Darts final.

On Wednesday, before Littler’s head-to-head with Humphries, sales reached a high when darts lovers got into the spirit of things by settling down to watch the action with a kebab on their plate. As a result, Iceland reported that their frozen doner kebab sales have increased by 25%.

In response to this, Iceland’s CEO Richard Walker has pledged free kebab meat for life, saying how much they would ‘love to work with him’. He told MailOnline: ‘I’m going to invite him to any one of our three shops in Warrington and he can have free kebab meat for life. I’m hoping he will take us up on our offer.’

He added that he would give Littler a ‘hero’s welcome’ when he visited, calling him an ‘incredible young man who has achieved something extraordinary.’ When quizzed on how Iceland and Littler could collaborate, the boss added: ‘We would love to work with him, never say never, but I’m sure he’s very busy right now!’

So, who knows? Maybe we’ll soon see Luke Littler as the new face of Iceland.
