Love Island star Rachel Finni has some amazing news to share - she is pregnant! The 30-year-old reality contestant, who entered the 2021 series of Love Island as a bombshell, is expecting her first child.
Rachel shared the news on Instagram on Tuesday with a black-and-white video of her stomach with her unborn child moving inside her. She paired the clip with the song What A Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong, and captioned it with a simple white heart.
The star was quickly flooded with congratulations from friends, fans, and family. Fellow Love Island alum Summer Botwe wrote 'oh my love, congratulations', while Michael Boateng, who recently appeared on Love Island Games, added a red heart. Eva Zapico, an influencer, also chimed in with 'Oh my goodness, congratulations! I'm so happy!'.
Rachel also shared a black-and-white snap of her cradling her bump while taking a mirror selfie.
As well as the news of her pregnancy, Rachel made headlines following her Love Island exit as she used her newfound platform to call for more diversity on the show. Speaking to The Agency in 2022, she said 'every single Black girl and to an extent Black guy has had some kind of negative storyline attached to their name including the mixed-race guys. I want to see genuine diversity, I want to see people embrace Black women and men. I want to see Black women being complimented.'
