Lorraine Kelly has announced she is taking a break from Twitter, admitting that things have become "dark". The ITV host, 63, shared the news on Thursday morning ahead of her show.
In a tweet, Lorraine wrote: "Morning. Having a twitter break – it's all gone a bit dark. I'll still be around on Instagram @lorrainekellysmith for mostly cute photos of my dog."

Looking back on a 2007 episode of The Graham Norton Show, Lorraine spoke on Wednesday's show about feeling uncomfortable after Brand called her a "slut" and shamed her for allegedly wearing suspenders.
Lorraine said: "Now look, that is uncomfortable to watch now, that really is. Also for the record, I was not wearing suspenders at all. Everybody was laughing, I was laughing!"
She continued: "I must admit, it's difficult, looking back on it now I probably would have said something. That's what he was not just doing, but actively encouraged to do, and that's a scandal."
