Long-awaited comeback of two EastEnders icons causes havoc.
Freddie and Mo, two beloved characters, are finally returning to EastEnders next week. The residents of Albert Square are thrilled to have them back and things will surely go back to normal with their presence. It has been a while since we last saw them and we have really missed them.

Freddie was last seen leaving Albert Square to spend some time with his mother, Little Mo Slater, after being released on bail for attacking his stalker, Theo Hawthorne. This was to make way for his on-screen brother, Bobby, to participate in Strictly Come Dancing. Since then, Freddie has been busy with various projects.

On the other hand, Mo has been absent from Walford for a much longer time. She was introduced to the show in 2000 as the grandmother of Kat and has been a regular until 2012. She continued to make guest appearances for the next four years and returned for a three-year stint in 2018. The last time we saw her was at Kat's failed wedding to Phil Mitchell in 2022.

In the upcoming scenes, Alfie Moon is in for a surprise when he discovers intruders in his flat. Armed with a toy baseball bat, he attacks them, only to realize that it is Freddie and Mo! The family is overjoyed to have them back, but Freddie soon realizes that he will have to move into the already crowded house at No. 31 since Kat and her kids are staying at No. 5D.

Despite this, Freddie decides to give Kat and Alfie a chance at rekindling their relationship as the residents start to gossip about a possible reunion. However, it seems that Freddie may have his own relationship issues as spoiler pictures show him looking surprised at Bobby and Anna kissing outside the Vic.

Meanwhile, Mo has her eye on another local, Stevie Mitchell. She goes on a date with him and things seem to be going well. It looks like Mo may have found a potential love interest.

Speaking of love interests, last year both boys had a crush on Anna, but she eventually ended up with Bobby after they discovered they were half-siblings. However, in Freddie's absence, the two have reconciled and things may not be as simple as they seem.

At the BAFTAs, Bobby expressed his excitement about returning to the show and his love for his on-screen family, the Slaters. He also mentioned that he is constantly learning from his fellow actors and is grateful for the opportunity to be a part of such a talented cast.
