Ponnampet, June 25: A legal awareness workshop was organized in the college auditorium under the joint auspices of Cauvery Pre-University College, Gonikoppal and the District Legal Services Authority.

Senior Civil Judge Shubha, who participated as a resource person, created awareness about child protection, POCSO Act, prohibition of child marriage and the ill effects of increasing drug use among the youth.

He advised the students to make at least eight hours of sleep a day, a balanced diet, regular exercise,
