LadBaby have become a Christmas staple in recent years with their festive charity singles. This year, the YouTuber and musician have teamed up with pie manufacturer Pukka to create the ultimate Christmas dinner pie, and money raised from its sales will be donated to the Trussell Trust.
Mark and Roxanne Hoyle, the masterminds behind LadBaby, are thrilled about the new collaboration. Roxanne commented, “We’re absolutely buzzing to have joined forces with Pukka to cook up something special for the nation, supporting the incredible work of the Trussell Trust.” Rachel Cranston from Pukka also shared her enthusiasm, saying, “We couldn’t be happier that our first ever Christmas Pie is brought to you by festive icons, LadBaby. The pie, which contains chicken pieces and traditional festive sage and onion pork stuffing balls, as well as chipolata sausages and smoked bacon, is sure to be a hit this holiday season.
LadBaby first came to public attention in 2018 when their cover version of Starship’s We Built This City was the Christmas number one. Since then, they have broken the record for the most consecutive UK Christmas number ones and the most Christmas number ones overall with five.
It is unclear if LadBaby will be bidding for a sixth consecutive Christmas number one in 2023, but their campaign for the Trussell Trust has already started early. Roxanne revealed in 2020 that she was inspired to use LadBaby to raise money for food banks after having to struggle to afford food in the past.
