When Kiara Smith opened the doors of her family-owned business, Fresh & Pressed Juice, in Troy, Michigan, it was the realization of her entrepreneurial dream, born from her desire to restore the energy of her son who had developed a microbiome deficiency five years ago. The native Detroiter is also making healthy lifestyle choices more accessible by hosting monthly community events at Fresh & Pressed. But, what Smith has already poured into the foundation of her family-friendly brand’s success is a heavy dose of focused intentionality and a whole lot of love.
