Ever since Freddie Slater returned to Albert Square last year, EastEnders fans have held out hope that his mum Little Mo Slater, played by Kacey Ainsworth, would be making a comeback too. Little Mo was last seen in Walford back in 2006, when she left to live in Barnstaple with her young son.
With Alex McSweeney set to reprise his role as Graham Foster, viewers are eager to see how Freddie responds to meeting his biological father. Graham had spent months gaining Mo's trust before raping her, and she was with Billy Mitchell at the time. Billy couldn't cope with the idea of bringing up a rapist's child after Mo found out she was pregnant, so the couple split up.
EastEnders' boss Chris Clenshaw seemed to confirm Little Mo's return in a chat on Loose Women in February. “We felt that it was important for Freddie to find out about the circumstances relating to his conception so he can understand and process the identity of his dad," Clenshaw said.
