More and more details are set to come out about the upcoming Call Of Duty title. Fans have nicknamed it Modern Warfare 2.5, but recent reports indicate it may be called simply Modern Warfare 3. Now, a new leak has revealed the game's first two maps.
The images, which have been shared online by Call Of Duty leaker COD_Perseus, depict what appears to be remastered versions of Terminal and Scrapyard - two fan-favorite maps from the original Modern Warfare 2. Terminal is a medium-sized multiplayer map set in an airport. Scrapyard, on the other hand, is a smaller-scale map showcasing an aircraft junkyard with scattered airplane parts.
Activision is yet to make any official announcement about this new title, but Call Of Duty fans have already started speculating about its release. Insider Gaming claims the official unveiling of Modern Warfare 3 is slated for Tuesday, August 1. It also disclosed that the game will feature two beta weekends in October, followed by an early access campaign in November, and a full release in the same month.
Call Of Duty fans can also look forward to the launch of Season 1, which is expected to bring a new Warzone map on December 5. But until then, they can check out the latest Warzone 2 leaks, which reveal the new Vondel locations and an aerial view.
