Iconic hip-hop artists from across the decades come together to celebrate 50 years of the genre at Radio City Music Hall.
DJ Cassidy is ecstatic to be celebrating the incredible impact of hip-hop and its pioneers by bringing together an amazing star-studded lineup of 25 hip-hop icons to the birthplace of hip hop - Radio City Music Hall - on July 21, in honor of hip-hop's 50th birthday. The show will feature icons such as Big Daddy Kane, Doug E. Fresh, Rakim, Slick Rick, Roxanne Shante, The Sugarhill Gang, Monie Love, Kurtis Blow, and Kid ‘N Play, with additional special guests. This is the second of the 'Pass The Mic Live!' series of concerts, following the first one on May 12 at the Prudential Center arena in Newark.

As a student of hip-hop and a fan of the acts performing, DJ Cassidy expressed his excitement to be celebrating these icons and their immense contribution to culture and music. He wrote in an Instagram post, “I could have never imagined my little living room series transforming into a series of primetime television specials, let alone a series of live one-night-only concerts.” This unique celebration is sure to be an unforgettable experience that pays homage to the powerful legacy of hip-hop.
