The festive season is getting ever closer! As autumn begins, the EastEnders cast and crew are getting into the Christmas spirit- pictures have confirmed that they are now filming episodes that will be released over the Christmas period.
The pictures show Walford covered in twinkling lights, but they also reveal Ian and Cindy's brand new business venture- Beale's Eels. From a bird's eye view of the road, we can see that the pie and mash house will open next door to Coker and Sons, the funeral parlour.
This week on BBC One's soap, Ian and Cindy had to find a way to get their hands on a lot of cash. After failed attempts with the Panesars and Phil, Cindy and Ian joined George and Elaine for a dinner. Cindy had learnt that George wanted to sell a bar in Marbella, and she argued that she had every right to her half of the sale. When George questioned Cindy's motives, she revealed that she suspected he was holding onto her money as he couldn't let go of Rose. After realising that Cindy was right, George agreed to give her what she was owed.
The festive season will bring answers to the Christmas Day murder. Fans have been speculating who will be killed, with the Six (Sharon, Denise, Suki, Stacey, Kathy and Linda) all featuring when the dead body is discovered. Not only this, but there will be a huge tree standing proudly in the Square gardens, and Ian and Cindy's business plan will prove to be a success. There's even Christmas karaoke in the pub- honestly, get us there ASAP!
Ross Kemp recently admitted to the secret way he tried to get paid more at EastEnders, and James Farrar was 'heartbroken' when a much-loved co-star quit. Plus, Gina's secret boyfriend was revealed as an evil villain from the past, and an EastEnders actor was called a 'nonce' by a group of men while travelling alone.
It's all getting very exciting- we can't wait to see what's in store for the festive season!
