I dislike the appearance of GTA 6 and I'm not afraid to say it - Reader's Opinion.
In the past few weeks, there has been a lot of buzz surrounding the highly anticipated release of GTA 6. With the announcement of the release date and the release of a new trailer, fans are eagerly waiting for the game to hit the shelves. However, amidst all the excitement, there are some who are not as enthusiastic about the new installment. As a reader, I am one of those people and I am not afraid to share my thoughts on the Grand Theft Auto franchise and why I am unlikely to purchase GTA 6.

First of all, I want to acknowledge the impressive aspects of the game. The open world design and level of detail in GTA are truly remarkable. However, I do feel that the world lacks interactivity as most buildings cannot be entered and there is limited destruction. I believe this will remain the same in GTA 6 due to the limitations of current consoles. Nevertheless, the game compensates for this with a wide range of activities such as mini-games and optional missions, making it engaging and entertaining. And let's not forget the stunning graphics, which are a result of a whopping $1 billion budget according to rumors.

But despite all the money and effort put into the game, I have three main issues with the existing games in the franchise. These issues have not been addressed in previous installments and I am not confident that they will be in GTA 6. The first problem is the gameplay itself. I find it lacking and even frustrating at times. The combat and driving mechanics have always been subpar, and controlling aircrafts is almost impossible. Other games in the same genre offer a much better gaming experience, making GTA seem outdated and underdeveloped.

Another issue I have is with the plot. Many people praise Rockstar for their exceptional dialogue, but I find their storylines lacking substance. In GTA 5, for example, the plot can be summed up as three men committing crimes. It seems that the developers are too focused on creating a massive world and forget about the importance of a solid storyline. This lack of depth in the plot is a recurring theme in all the games.

Lastly, I want to address the dialogue in the game. While the quality of writing may be commendable, I find the dialogue to be trying too hard to be edgy and cool. It is evident that the game was created in the 90s, as the dialogue reflects the angst and tough guy persona of that era. I understand that this is appealing to a certain demographic, but it is not to my liking.

Even with the departure of the head writer, I see no signs of change in GTA 6. The main character, Jason, seems to already fit the stereotypical mold of a muscular, cool guy who attracts women with his badassery. The game may be a teenage boy's fantasy, but I believe it is time to aim for something more mature and thought-provoking. I am also concerned about the trailers portraying the worst of American culture, which can be seen as an endorsement rather than satire. This is especially concerning given the current political climate in America.

I wonder if the delay in the release of GTA 6 is due to the developers reworking the dialogue, but I doubt there will be significant changes. And that is why, despite all the hype and anticipation, I have no interest in purchasing GTA 6. These are my personal opinions and do not reflect the views of GameCentral or Metro. I believe that every individual has their own preferences and I am simply sharing mine as a reader. Thank you for reading and feel free to share your thoughts.
