Tuesday was a special day for all the teachers across the city of Indore, as Free Press joined hands with Daly College of Business Management and Indian Oil to honour these hardworking individuals at the Free Press House. Dr Sonal Sisodia shared her opinion that teachers must remain a step ahead of their students and equip themselves with the latest sources of knowledge.
Mr. Ajay Verma highlighted the responsibilities of teachers in shaping the minds and careers of children, and commended them for their patience. Tarun Agrawal from Indian Oil also praised the role of teachers in nation-building. The guests were welcomed to the event with bouquets.
The mayor also shared IMC’s plans to develop six model schools in the upcoming fiscal, along with the development of more smart schools. He further mentioned that IMC already has a few buses that could be used as mobile schools to reach out to underdeveloped areas.
The event was a great way to honour the teachers for all their hard work and dedication. It was inspiring to see the guests come together to recognize the efforts of the teachers in transforming the young generation into national assets.
