The Sant Hirdaram Institute of Management in Bhopal celebrated Mental Health Day on Friday, with the aim of raising awareness about mental health issues, reducing stigma, and promoting mental well-being.
This event was organized by the SHIM UHV club, who invited Dr. Nupur Priya Pandey, Senior Consultant at TELE-MANAS at AIIMS Bhopal, to be the expert speaker for the session. Around 150 management students attended this session, which focused on mental and emotional issues among Gen-Z.
Dr. Pandey discussed issues that are faced by youth, such as somatoform disorders, psychotic disorders, personality disorders, academic stress, and sexual abuse. The students also had the opportunity to get their issues addressed by the expert, as well as receive a toll-free number to contact.
The Managing Director Hero Gyanchandani and Dr. Ashish Thakur, Director of SHIM, congratulated the UHV club for organizing such a informative session.
