Frank Lampard looks set to land his first job since leaving Chelsea at the end of last season, as the odds-on favourite to become the next manager of Bristol City in the Championship.
Nigel Pearson was dismissed as manager of the Robins on Sunday after a defeat to Cardiff City left them 15th in the table, with just five wins in the first 14 games of the season.
