Joe Wicks, the renowned online fitness coach and healthy chef, is about to embark on a new venture as he joins the esteemed panel of investors on the hit TV show, Dragon's Den. The upcoming 22nd season, set to air in 2025, will see Joe take on the role of a Guest Dragon, alongside the show's regulars Peter Jones, Deborah Meaden, Touker Suleyman, Sara Davies, and Steven Bartlett. And Joe couldn't be more excited to be a part of the action.
"I am thrilled to be joining the Den as a Guest Dragon and to have the opportunity to meet and work alongside some incredible and passionate entrepreneurs," Joe shared in a statement. Having gone through his own journey to success, Joe knows the power of determination and hard work and is eager to share his experiences and help others achieve their dreams.
The 38-year-old fitness expert rose to fame with his online fitness programs and healthy recipes. In 2015, he published his first cookbook, Lean in 15, and his popularity continued to soar, especially during the lockdown when he became the "PE teacher to the nation." His contributions during the pandemic even earned him an MBE for his services to fitness and charity.
Joining Joe as guest judges on the show are Trinny Woodall, known for her hit TV show with Susannah Constantine, and Emma Grede, a successful retail entrepreneur. Trinny, the founder and CEO of beauty brand Trinny London, is excited to discover and support new business ideas, while Emma, the Co-Founder & CEO of Good American and Founding Partner of SKIMS, is looking forward to returning to the Den and helping emerging entrepreneurs.
"I am delighted to be back in the Den," Emma shared. "This show is all about giving a platform to aspiring entrepreneurs and I am honored to be a part of it once again." Trinny added, "I am thrilled to be a guest judge on the upcoming season of Dragons' Den and to share my own entrepreneurial journey with the next generation of business leaders."
The show's Head of Entertainment at the BBC, Kalpna Patel-Knight, is also excited about the new additions to the panel, saying, "They are three extraordinary entrepreneurs whose expertise and passion will bring a new level of excitement and inspiration to the show. I cannot wait to see what they will bring to the Den."
With four children now in his brood, Joe's schedule is even more packed, but he couldn't be happier. He and his wife Rosie recently welcomed their fourth child, a baby boy, into the world. Joe announced the happy news on his Instagram, sharing a sweet photo of his new bundle of joy and expressing his joy and gratitude for their growing family.
As we eagerly await the return of Dragons' Den in 2025, we can expect to see some fantastic business ideas and inspiring journeys, with the help of Joe, Trinny, and Emma. And who knows, maybe we'll even get a glimpse of their entrepreneurial skills in action. Stay tuned!
