Drawing from her grandmother’s advice that “anything worth having is worth fighting for,” she is encouraging others to “stay in the ring” and keep going. Recently, Fantasia partnered with The American Red Cross to donate blood and help those who suffer from sickle cell disease. She emphasizes the “Black excellence” in the blood of the Black community and wants her followers to understand the importance of the matter.
