Tamra Judge recently underwent several cosmetic procedures and she's now providing an update on her recovery. The Real Housewives of Orange County star treated herself to a brow lift, CO2 laser treatment, and a blue chemical peel for her 57th birthday. She took to Instagram last night, four days after the surgery, to share that her skin is now "crispy, flaky, and healing" and that she is definitely making progress.
Tamra spent several days in bed recovering from the procedures and even spoke to Daily Mail about the pain she experienced, which left her unable to bear any sounds. "At first, it was my forehead that hurt so bad for three days. I couldn't even listen to people talk or have the TV on. All I could do is just lie in one spot," she explained. "So after a couple of days of that, then it became my teeth that were throbbing, and then my sinuses were throbbing, and now my face is crunchy. So every day it's something new."
The TV personality underwent these procedures to balance out a lower facelift she had in 2017. Her doctor also recommended the CO2 laser and blue chemical peel to improve the texture of her skin. "I have a lot of brown spots and fine lines and stuff like that, so it's supposed to take 10 years off your skin. So I said, 'Sure, let's do it' - not knowing that the CO2 laser was going to be this brutal!" Tamra shared with Daily Mail.
Despite the intense pain, Tamra has been open and transparent about her cosmetic work. She explained, "I don't want people to think I'm doing nothing and this is the way I look. And if I can help somebody else be like, 'You know what? I want to do that too. I want to feel better about myself.' Why not?"
Tamra is best known for being a housewife on Real Housewives of Orange County, where she was first cast in its third season in 2008. She left the show in 2020 but returned two years later after being asked back due to low ratings. "After two years of sitting on the bench, being on pause, getting fired, I came back with a lot of energy," Tamra shared with Entertainment Tonight about her comeback.
