We are absolutely thrilled to announce that two of Emmerdale's finest, Bhasker Patel and Liam Fox, have been cast in the brand new TV pilot, Henry House. This exciting project is a comedy drama set in a care home in Wrexham, produced by Rocking Horse Media.
Bhasker Patel's character, Rishi Sharma, was unexpectedly killed off earlier this month, leaving viewers shocked. Rishi had been a major part of the soap for 12 years, and was involved in some of the show's biggest storylines - most recently, the revelation of Jai's adoption. During Jai's wedding, Rishi had a dramatic fight with Laurel Thomas and ended up having an 'accidental fall' down the stairs.
Liam's character, Dan Spencer, is currently planning on fleeing the Emmerdale village with his daughter Amelia and granddaughter Esther. After pleading guilty to manslaughter for killing Lloyd with a single punch, Dan is expecting a hefty prison sentence, and is desperate to keep his family together. He's enlisted Cain Dingle's help to escape the country, but will this be the right decision?
As well as appearing in Henry House, both Bhasker and Liam have already announced other projects. Bhasker will be starring in Leviathan, a series that follows the stories of different characters exploring the links between borders, mental health and marine welfare. Liam is set to join the cast of Aladdin as Abanzar in Merseyside pantomime.
