Driver stunned to see a massive snake coiled around their dashboard while driving down the motorway.

The driver got the surprise of his life when he noticed a corn snake hanging off his dashboard while driving down the A38 motorway. He quickly pulled into a motorway services and called in Linjoy Wildlife Sanctuary and Rescue for help. The animal rescue team sent Mark to the scene, who had to remove the car seat to reach the snake. With Mark's help, the snake was eventually removed and the driver was free to continue to his destination, with the snake now safe at the sanctuary.



The rescue team were praised for their bravery and quick-thinking, with many people commenting on the sanctuary's Facebook page. The snake was cold and must have been in the car for a few days, but thankfully is now doing well and is much more active.
