Dr Brahm Prakash Shukla, Dean of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry College, Mhow, was recently awarded the esteemed Fellow of the National Academy of Veterinary Science for his outstanding work in the field of education, research and extension. The award was presented to him at the 21st National Scientific Convention of the National Academy of Veterinary Science, held in Ludhiana.
Union Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairy Minister Purushottam Rupala was the Chief Guest at the event, accompanied by Punjab's Minister of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry, Dr Prakash Rao. Other distinguished members of the gathering included NAVS President Gurmeet Singh Khudian, President of the Veterinary Council of India, Dr Umesh Chand Sharma, and Professor of Pathology Department, Dr Supriya Shukla- who also received the same award.
The entire staff of the college felicitated both Dr Shukla and Dr Supriya Shukla in recognition of their contributions to the field. The occasion was made even more special by the news that a leopard had been spotted in Mhow, which was later safely captured and is being released into the forest.
