Can I interest you in purchasing an Xbox with this amazing discount? Microsoft's Black Friday event has officially started and will continue until early December. While they have been offering deals on Xbox games earlier this month, we were hoping for discounts on their gaming hardware as well. At first, it seemed like the discounts were only available in the US, but fortunately, that is no longer the case. Starting tonight at midnight, select Xbox hardware will be on sale on Microsoft's UK website.
This year, Microsoft is offering a £40 reduction on select consoles, which will be available until December 2. First on the list is the standard 512GB Xbox Series S, which will now be priced at £209.99 instead of the usual £249.99. The Xbox Series S Family & Friends bundle, which includes the console and two controllers, will also have the same discount. Normally priced at £304.98, you can now purchase it for £264.98.
Initially, it seemed like the Xbox Series X was not included in the discounts. However, while Microsoft is not offering brand new consoles at a reduced price, they have lowered the price of refurbished Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S consoles by £40 as well. These are currently the best offers on Xbox consoles that we have seen, as other retailers have only made slight price cuts. It may be worth keeping an eye out though, as other retailers may follow Microsoft's example and offer similar discounts as Black Friday approaches.
For those who already own an Xbox Series X, there are still some great deals to take advantage of. The Mineral Camo console wrap is 50% off and select controllers are 20% off. This includes the Sky Cipher and Ghost Cipher, which are usually priced at £64.99.
Unfortunately, Microsoft is not offering any discounts on their Game Pass service. However, they would like to remind PC owners that they can get a first time PC Game Pass subscription for only £1 for the first 14 days. And for those eagerly awaiting the release of Indiana Jones And The Great Circle on December 9, subscribing to Game Pass now means you can play the game at no extra cost.
