Tennant's career in film and TV includes Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Broadchurch, and Staged, where he co-stars with Good Omens co-star Michael Sheen and his real-life wife Georgia Tennant.

The longlists for all 24 categories at the EE BAFTA Film Awards 2024, including best film, director, actor and actress, will be published on Friday, with the nominations announced via livestream on Thursday January 18.

Films expected to receive several nominations include Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer, Greta Gerwig and Margot Robbie’s Barbie, Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon, Bradley Cooper’s Leonard Bernstein biopic Maestro, Poor Things’ Emma Stone, May December’s Julianne Moore and Natalie Portman, and independent films like Past Lives and The Zone of Interest.
