Former Strictly Come Dancing star, Will Mellor, has recently revealed that he bared it all for his latest TV project. The 48-year-old actor, known for his roles in popular shows such as Hollyoaks, Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps, EastEnders, Coronation Street, and last year's ITV drama Mr Bates vs The Post Office, has teamed up with long-time friend Ralf Little for a laughter-packed mission to discover what aspects of modern life they're getting right, but are more often getting wrong.
The four-part factual series, Will & Ralf Should Know Better, follows the two middle-aged men in their 40s as they face various challenges in each episode. One particular challenge that caught the attention of viewers was when Will surprised Ralf with the news that they will be performing with the male strip troupe, the Dreamboys. However, both were taken aback when they learned that they had to go fully naked on stage, with only three hours to learn a routine and the warning that the live audience were "animals."
During an appearance on This Morning, the pair joked about pushing themselves to the limit by doing a striptease on stage in front of 2000 women. Will even shared a humorous anecdote about his wife realizing she had brought some regular old crackers to the show. The duo also discussed how they were initially unaware that the Dreamboys went "all the way" and joked about feeling disappointed by the audience's reaction.
Despite their initial hesitation, the actors and long-time friends successfully completed the challenge and described the experience as "unbelievable" and a "rush." Will also spoke about the importance of battling insecurities as you get older and not waiting to do things that frighten you. Viewers were quick to express their love for the show, with some even calling it the best TV series they've ever seen.
Will & Ralf Should Know Better is currently streaming on U, and This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV1.
