In a shocking incident of fraud, a couple from Saraswat Colony in Dombivali East have been booked for cheating two homebuyers. Prahlad Shilwant, 62, was the complainant in the case. He found out that the flat he had purchased from Chintan Panchal, 45, and his wife Priti, 42, was also sold to Rajendra Singh.
The couple had allegedly brokered the deal with Shilwant for ₹22 lakh in October 2016. They paid in cheque and cash.
