Congress says that the fight between BJP and BJD is like a scripted reality show.
In a recent press conference, Jitendra Kumar Biswal, chairman of the OPCC Disability Cell, expressed his concerns about the ongoing political rivalry between the BJD and BJP in Bhubaneswar. He referred to it as a "fixed reality show" that is cleverly designed to deceive the people of the state. According to Biswal, both parties are working together to secure votes and then continue their corrupt practices for another five years.

He urged the people of Odisha to recognize that the Congress is the only real alternative for bringing about change in the state. Biswal also touched upon the issue of Odia pride, which has become a major topic in this election. He accused the BJP and BJD of jeopardizing this pride by giving excessive power to a Tamilian bureaucrat, Kartik Pandian, who is also a key strategist for the BJD's campaign.

Biswal elaborated on how the Naveen Patnaik-led state government was able to grant such authority to a relatively junior IAS officer, bypassing several senior officials. He attributed this to the support and facilitation of the Narendra Modi government at the Centre. According to Biswal, Union Home Minister Amit Shah not only gave the Tamil officer direct access to him but also met him privately on multiple occasions.

He criticized the BJP for now trying to portray themselves as protectors of Odia pride, despite being responsible for its exploitation. Biswal also highlighted the Congress' commitment towards the empowerment of marginalized communities, especially the PwD community. He stated that other parties only use them for their own political gains, while the Congress genuinely works towards their betterment.

The press conference was also attended by AICC media co-ordinator Ritu Choudhuary, PCC spokesperson Suvendu Mallik, and Sangram Kishore Majhi. They all echoed Biswal's sentiments and reiterated the Congress' stance as the only party that truly works for the upliftment of all sections of society. It is important for the people of Odisha to see through the facade of the BJD-BJP alliance and choose the Congress for real progress and development in the state.
