Coleen wins lawsuit against Rebekah over documentary about social media feud.
Coleen Rooney is said to have won another battle against Rebekah Vardy as the drama between the two is set to be showcased in a new Disney+ documentary. The series will follow the legal case that began in 2019 and concluded last summer, where Rooney accused Vardy of leaking false stories about her to the press.

Unfortunately for the documentary producers, Vardy owns the rights to the phrase 'Wagatha Christie', which refers to the WAGs - or wives and girlfriends of professional athletes - and Rooney being her own mystery-solving Agatha Christie. As a result, Disney+ had to find another title for the series, which the Sun reports will now be called Coleen Rooney: The Real Wagatha Story.

The documentary will have exclusive access to Rooney, and it will also explore how she has had her life played out in public for the last 20 years. It will tell the story of a working-class teenager turned confident mother of four and businesswoman.

Sean Doyle, Disney+ director of unscripted content, said that although it may have been a surprise for Disney+ to sign up to this project, it is a story that 'people want to hear'. He added that the streaming giant's legal team are among the most formidable in the world of entertainment, which will be a relief to Coleen.

In a press release, Disney said that the series will take viewers from the circumstances that led to Coleen's infamous Instagram post that 'broke the internet' all the way to her successful High Court defamation case against Vardy.

The drama between the two is ongoing, and Vardy recently ripped into Rooney's marriage and blasted Wayne for 'sleeping with hookers' in a brutal rant.
