Chirag Paswan believes Kangana won't work with him due to his poor acting skills.
Chirag Paswan, a Union minister who ventured into politics after a brief stint in the Hindi film industry, recently shared that he has no plans to return to the big screen. In fact, he even joked that he is such a terrible actor that not even his colleague and former co-star, Kangana Ranaut, would want to work with him again.

During a candid conversation with PTI editors at the agency's headquarters in New Delhi, the Lok Janshakti Party leader opened up about his failed acting debut in the 2011 movie "Miley Naa Miley Hum". He admitted that the film was a "disaster" and that he has no intentions of pursuing a career in acting again.

Furthermore, Paswan shared that he has no plans of getting married for at least another two years as he wants to dedicate all his time and energy to politics. With the upcoming Bihar elections next year, he believes that his focus should solely be on serving the people and not on personal matters.

"I think marriage is a huge responsibility and one cannot simply prioritize work over their spouse. If your work is your priority, then you should make that clear from the beginning. For me, my work is my priority and if I don't have time for a partner, I don't think it's fair to get into a marriage," he added.

As Ranaut, a leading actor in the Hindi film industry, also joined politics and won the Lok Sabha polls from Mandi in Himachal Pradesh, Paswan's movie debut resurfaced and many social media users expressed their desire to see them together on screen again. However, Paswan was quick to shut down any such possibilities, jokingly saying, "Again? After one disaster!"

He went on to say that anyone who has seen the movie would agree with him and that his short stint in the film industry taught him valuable lessons on what not to do in life. Although his time in Mumbai exposed him to the struggles of people from Bihar, it also solidified his decision to serve them through politics.

While he may have started his career as an actor, Paswan realized that politics was his true calling. He believes that it is not a profession to be taken lightly, especially since he is accountable to millions of people as a Member of Parliament and a cabinet minister.

"I do not think I can take this lightly. And yes, no director, producer, including Kangana herself, will agree to do a movie with me," he shared with a smile.

When asked if he would consider working with Ranaut again, Paswan replied, "She will not. She knows how good of an actor I am." He added, "I am a very bad actor. You need to be honest with yourself," while laughing bashfully.

As one of the few bachelors in the Lok Sabha, Paswan also revealed that he has no plans to get married anytime soon. When questioned about any potential marriage proposals, he blushed and shared that his mother is currently handling all of that.

"I don't know how to answer these questions...I am already blushing," Paswan said with a shy smile. He further explained that his work is his top priority right now, especially with the Bihar assembly polls looming next year.

"I don't see myself getting married for a couple of years at least. Because I have state elections coming in Bihar, so that is my next priority," he concluded.
