Attention all customers, we have an important announcement regarding two of our bunk bed models. The Mason Tyler bunk bed, manufactured by T and R Sports, has been recalled due to a potential safety hazard. Specifically, there is a risk of the top level crashing onto the bottom level, causing serious injuries.
The affected models are FURNI-BUNKBED-CD-QNHT-WHT and FURNI-BUNKBED-CD-QNHT-GRAY. Both of these models are made of solid timber and feature stairs and storage drawers. However, a manufacturing defect has been discovered in the stair handrail and main support bars. These parts were not strengthened enough and may break during use.
Product Safety Australia has issued a recall notice for these bunk beds, stating that there is a risk of falls, crushing, or entrapment if the handrail or main support bars break. As a precaution, we urge all customers to immediately stop using the stairs and the top bunk.
