The Samson Sky Switchblade is the world's first flying car that you can park in your home garage. The Switchblade is sold in kit form, which includes engine, transmission, avionics, interiors and Samson Builder Assist Program. It comes in two versions: a £139,000 version which permits a pilot to operate in clear weather conditions, and a £160,000 model that can fly under different weather conditions, including into clouds and with zero visibility. The vehicle uses regular unleaded auto gas rather than leaded aviation fuel.
Samson Sky is expecting orders from non-pilots who plan to learn to fly in order to fly the Switchblade. With its first successful flight, the dream of the flying car is now closer than ever to becoming a reality.
