22-year-old Matthew Forster and his 18-year-old brother Andrew, both sons of a GB News correspondent, found themselves in a dangerous situation on the beautiful island of Bali. After embarking on a nine-week adventure across Southeast Asia, the two brothers decided to attempt a climb to the summit of Mount Agung, a towering 10,000ft volcano, in hopes of catching the sunrise.
However, things took a turn for the worse when their phones died near the top of the volcano, leaving them stranded and unable to contact anyone for help. As the hours passed, their worried mother Katherine Forster, who was meant to be covering the General Election, received the devastating news of her children's predicament, making it the "worst day of her life."
Thankfully, after more than 30 hours of being missing, Matthew and Andrew were finally rescued from the top of Mount Agung. It was a joint effort between the local authorities and a team of experienced climbers who were able to locate and safely bring the two brothers back down to safety.
