After becoming Hollywood's newly crowned best actor at the Oscars earlier this year, Brendan Fraser has been enjoying some much-needed rest and relaxation with his girlfriend Jeanne Moore.
The 54-year-old George of the Jungle star and his makeup artist partner were spotted on a sun-drenched trip to the beach in Ischia, Italy last Saturday. Brendan opted for olive green swimming trunks, a matching baseball cap and large black sunglasses, while Jeanne wore a purple bikini and swept her blonde hair up in a bun to keep it dry.
The couple took a refreshing dip in the sea and were later snapped chilling by sun loungers and beach umbrellas on a pier section built out into the ocean. When they decided to call it quits for the day, Brendan put on a beige polo shirt and a bucket hat, while Jeanne wore a white strappy button-up sundress and straw hat.
Brendan and Jeanne made their red carpet debut at Venice last September. It's not known when the couple officially started dating, but they both attended the Academy Awards in March, where Brendan received an emotional standing ovation for his performance in Darren Aronofsky's The Whale - an event he thanked his girlfriend for during his acceptance speech.
The actor is also father to three sons - 19-year-old Holden, 17-year-old Leland and 21-year-old Griffin, who is autistic. Brendan spoke about him in an Interview Magazine article, saying: ‘I understand intimately what it is to be close to a person who lives with obesity.’
The couple were in Ischia for the Ischia Global Film Festival, where Brendan was honoured with the best actor of the year trophy. And Brendan will next be seen in Martin Scorsese's Killers of the Flower Moon, alongside Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro. The film is released in cinemas on October 6, before premiering on Apple TV Plus on October 20.
