Kyanna Woods has something to be proud of - she graduated at the top of her class and has earned scholarship offers totaling over $2.5 million from multiple universities.
Kyanna was born with a heart defect, and at 3 months old, underwent open heart surgery. This major procedure can have lasting effects, but Kyanna defied all expectations. Not only did she excel academically, but also in sports.
On top of graduating as valedictorian at Cabarrus Charter School, Kyanna also earned her associate's degree and was accepted into 61 colleges, including Xavier University, the University of South Carolina, Spelman College, and Appalachian State University. Her parents, William and Kourtney, are incredibly proud of their daughter and consider her a miracle child.
