Beau Ramsey had an immediate connection with Maxine Minniver in Hollyoaks when she came to his aid and offered to help him care for his baby niece Eva.
The high school teacher, as viewers know, has been doing his best to support his brother Tony Hutchinson , who has been dealing with the traumatic effects of Eric Foster 's actions.
On Thursday’s first look episode, Tony was determined to get Eva used to sleeping in her own bed, and thus he asked Beau to keep her up all day.
Maxine, meanwhile, ran into Beau outside the gym, and there was a definite spark between them as they got to know each other better.
Maxine then agreed to help Beau look after Eva while he went to school to teach.

Beau was very grateful for Maxine's help and Jon-Paul Bell, who plays Beau in the show, confirmed that he has his eye on her.
‘The strength Maxine showed throughout everything with Eric really caught Beau’s attention,’ he told Inside Soap.
‘Potentially there could be something between them – he definitely has his eye on her.’
We’ll have to keep watching to see if Beau and Maxine's bond continues to grow.
