Police are reaching out once again to the public for any helpful information in regards to a recent discovery made on a beach in New South Wales. Last month, on June 18 at 10 am, human remains were uncovered at Jetty Beach in Coffs Harbour. It is believed that the remains belong to a woman in her 50s or 60s.
Upon further investigation, it was found that the woman was wearing a singlet top from "Bras N Things" and blue denim jeans. Authorities also discovered a number of items nearby that they believe are connected to the remains. These include silver earrings, hair clips, a blue and white striped button-up shirt from Target, a backpack from Harvey World Travel, a wallet from Laura Jones, reading glasses, and a paperback book titled "The Butterfly Summer."
Despite their efforts, investigators have not been able to identify the woman yet. However, they have determined that she passed away sometime between 2020 and 2023. It is believed that the bones have been there since 2021. Forensic testing is still ongoing, but so far, there have been no matches between the remains and any missing person reports in the area.
