Army officer training at Mhow Infantry School in Madhya Pradesh missing.
Mhow Police have registered a missing person's report after an Army officer undergoing the Young Officers course at the Infantry School in Mhow, Madhya Pradesh went missing on Friday morning.

Officiating Mhow Police Station House Officer, Deepak Rathore has informed that the missing officer, Lt. Mohit Gupta, was supposed to attend Physical Training at 6 am on Friday but he was not present. At 7.30 am, when the authorities checked his room, he wasn't there.

Lt. Gupta's parents and family members, residing in Etah city, Uttar Pradesh have been informed about his disappearance and his call detail record has been sought to get information about who all were in touch with him.

On the basis of a complaint submitted by Subedar Jarmal Singh, an instructor at the Young Officers wing of the Infantry School, the Mhow police have registered the case and started an investigation into the matter.

Sources have informed that Lt. Gupta was last spotted in the PT uniform and went missing between 6 am and 7.30 am from his room. He left his motorbike there only and it is believed that he moved out on foot.

Trainees are not allowed to go out of the campus, and all amenities and shops run by civilian contractors are situated on the campus so that trainees do not venture out. In case of some urgent need to go out, they are supposed to get an out pass signed by an appropriate authority and the Defence Security Corps personnel deployed for security at all gates allow them to go out only after seeing their passes.

The Mhow police are now on the lookout for Lt. Mohit Gupta and are striving to find the answers to this mysterious disappearance.
