Madikeri, Jul. 11: The newly started University of Agricultural Sciences, Mandya has decided to felicitate the District Level Progressive Farmer and Farmer Woman Award and the Taluk Level Young Farmer and Farmer Woman Award at the University’s Krishi Mela.
Applications have been invited to select farmers and farmer women from all the districts and taluks under the jurisdiction of the University for these awards. Farmers and farmer women from Kodagu district who are following the integrated farming system can apply.
Application forms can be obtained from the Office of the Joint Director of Agriculture, Madikeri or the University’s Extension Education Unit, Madikeri, Forest College, Ponnampet or the Office of the Assistant Director of Agriculture of the respective taluk. The filled applications can be sent to the Office of the Joint Director of Agriculture, Extension Education Unit, Madikeri or Forest College, Ponnampet here. Requested to submit with necessary documents by 31.
