The Southern Black Girls and Women's Consortium is accepting applications for the Black Girls Dream Fund grant. This initiative was launched on November 7th to provide resources and support for organizations led by Black women whose initiatives empower Black girls and women in the South.

The Black Girls Dream Fund applications are open until December 4th and grants are available for projects surrounding education, health and wellness, economic opportunity, social justice, leadership, and empowerment. The fund supports 13 states in the Southern region, including Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, East Texas, West Virginia, and Virginia.
