A couple in Washington state is currently going through a distressing situation after their beloved cat, Feefee, went missing. According to the couple, an Amazon delivery driver was caught on CCTV petting their cat before it disappeared, leaving them wondering where their feline friend could be.
Ray Ishak, one half of the couple, shared with KING news this week that their 13-year-old cat was last seen on July 21st in CCTV footage on their driveway. In the video, the driver can be seen petting and playing with Feefee, which Ishak says is not unusual. However, after the driver leaves, there is a short lapse in the footage and when it resumes, the Amazon truck can be seen driving away with no sight of the cat.
Ishak immediately contacted Amazon to report the incident and was told that the driver had Feefee with them. According to an email from Amazon, the driver had contacted the police department to return the cat. However, when Ishak followed up with the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office, they had not heard anything from the driver.
Desperate to find their missing pet, Ishak reached out to Amazon again, asking for the driver's city. However, the company declined to share this information and instead recommended that they file a theft report. This news has caused great distress not only to Ishak, but also to other family members, including his grandchildren who were visiting for a wedding.
"The emotional distress for me having to lie to my grandkids that the cat is safe and fine, then, watching my granddaughters cry after they found out because they heard us talk about it," Ishak shared.
Despite their efforts, Feefee is still nowhere to be found. Ishak has a direct message for the driver, saying, "Maybe you did this out of the kindness of your heart. I appreciate it, but bring me my cat back."
This incident has caused a stir in the community, with many people following the story and offering their support.
