Amit Shah wants BJP leaders in Odisha to ensure success in upcoming Lok Sabha and Assembly elections.
During his visit to Bhubaneswar, Union Home Minister Amit Shah met with BJP leaders from Odisha to discuss the upcoming Lok Sabha and assembly elections. He urged the leaders to come together and dedicate themselves fully for the next month to ensure the party's victory in the state.

According to state president Manmohan Samal, Shah emphasized the importance of working together and putting aside any differences. Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita Sarangi also shared that Shah believes Odisha needs a young, healthy, and Odia-speaking Chief Minister.

The meeting was attended by candidates from 13 parliamentary constituencies, including Jajpur, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Dhenkanal, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Keonjhar, Bhadrak, Puri, Aska, and Brahmapur. Shah encouraged them to meet with people door-to-door and assured them of the central leadership's support in forming a BJP government in the state.

Samal further shared that Shah's main focus was on winning all 21 Lok Sabha seats and gaining a majority in the assembly polls to form the next government in Odisha. Another leader added that Shah expressed his concern about the state government's alleged misuse of central funds and urged everyone to work together towards achieving Prime Minister Modi's vision.

Despite the BJP's lower vote share in the state, which ranges from 32 to 34 percent, Shah remains optimistic about their prospects in Odisha. He believes this vote share is sufficient for the party's growth and effective governance in the state.

The meeting was also attended by other prominent leaders, including BJP in-charge Sunil Bansal, BJP election in-charge Vijay Pal Singh Tomar, former president Samir Mohanty, MLA Mohan Majhi, and woman leader Prabhati Parida. Overall, the meeting was deemed a success and a step towards achieving the BJP's goals in Odisha.
