Alison Hammond, beloved host of This Morning, recently found herself in a little bit of a pickle when her son publicly called her out for an interesting habit. It all went down on Romesh Ranganathan's new quiz show, Parents' Evening, where famous faces team up with their loved ones to answer some tough questions.
Alison, along with her son Aidan, appeared on the premiere episode alongside Iain Stirling and his mom and Carol Vorderman and her son. During one of the segments, the teams were challenged to match movie titles with spoilers. Romesh turned to Alison and asked if she thought her son was up for the task.
But before she could answer, Aidan chimed in with a hilarious revelation – Alison "farts in the cinema!" The panel and studio audience erupted in laughter, while a shocked Alison jokingly reminded her son to maintain the "Hammond brand."
Throughout the show, Alison had been hesitant to let her son compete, repeatedly sitting him out of the game. But it all became a running joke, with Alison finally giving Aidan a chance to show off his knowledge. And boy, did he deliver! He successfully named five Mario Kart characters, much to the surprise of his mom and Romesh.
In fact, the mother-son duo ended up winning the game, with their prize money going to the British Liver Trust. Alison couldn't help but gush about her son's intelligence, joking that she always knew he was a genius.
This wasn't the first time Alison's antics had been publicly revealed. Her This Morning co-star Rylan Clark previously shared a funny story about her being his "worst houseguest ever." Apparently, after a night of drinking, Alison forgot to take off her makeup and it ended up all over Rylan's pillow the next morning.
But despite these embarrassing moments, Alison remains a beloved figure in the entertainment industry. Her infectious personality and lively sense of humor continue to win over audiences, even when her son decides to spill the beans on national television. We can't wait to see what other adventures she gets into on Romesh Ranganathan's Parents' Evening, airing next Saturday at 9.05pm on ITV1.
