AIIMS Bhopal records 1 lakh Quick Response (QR) based Outpatient Departments (OPD) for digital health.
AIIMS Bhopal has achieved a milestone in healthcare with the successful completion of more than one lakh OPD registrations through a QR-based solution - scan and share. This one-of-a-kind, quick and queue-less OPD Registration system was introduced under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission. As the country completes 50 lakh registrations, AIIMS Bhopal proudly shares its contribution through the scan-and-share registrations.

The Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission has been designed to create a digital backbone to support the integrated digital health infrastructure of the country. To reduce the long queues and data inaccuracies, the National Health Authority has introduced QR-Code-based solutions in ABDM-powered facilities. This allows patients to scan the QR code of the facility and share information such as demographics and medical records.

AIIMS Bhopal is dedicated to improving the patient experience and has taken up an initiative to promote scanning and sharing services. This will help in reducing waiting times during hospital visits by allowing healthcare professionals to access relevant patient information quickly and efficiently. As part of the government’s mandate, AIIMS Bhopal is actively involved in creating a digital health record to improve patient care. This digital health record system will enable seamless access to medical information across different healthcare providers and locations. AIIMS Bhopal’s commitment to enhancing patient care and streamlining healthcare processes is evident through its efforts to implement the scan-and-share services.
