One particular instance was when she withdrew Rs 2 lakh from Jayagananatha SHG.
It was only when the members of the SHGs confronted her about the suspicious withdrawals that the truth came to light. Sanjukta promised to return the money at the earliest, but when she failed to do so for a long time, the SHG members decided to take legal action against her and filed a complaint on Friday. However, even after her arrest, the stolen money has not been recovered from Sanjukta. She has been charged under Section 420 of the Indian Penal Code and was produced in court for further proceedings.
