A woman and her infant are unharmed after being taken from a parking lot in Melbourne.
Last week, a man took a woman and her baby from a shopping center parking lot in the southern part of Melbourne. Thankfully, the police reported that neither the woman nor the child were physically harmed. It all happened at around 6pm on Friday at the Stud Park Shopping Centre's supermarket parking lot in Rowville.

According to detectives, the man approached the woman and threatened her with a knife. He then forced her into the driver's seat of her silver Suzuki S Cross. He sat in the back with the baby and made her drive to various electrical stores on the South Gippsland Highway, Cranbourne, and Frankston Dandenong Road in Dandenong. The woman was forced to purchase multiple Apple MacBooks while the man stayed in the car with the child.

After leaving the Dandenong store, the man drove away while the woman was forced to stay in the back with her baby. He eventually fled the scene at Robert Booth Reserve in Dandenong, carrying four MacBooks with him at around 8pm. The police also mentioned that the man was last seen wearing a grey hoodie with the hood over his head, a green fluro vest on top of the hoodie, and black and grey pants with black running shoes. He was also carrying a shopping bag with two Apple MacBook Pro computers in their boxes and two more boxed Apple MacBook computers under his left arm.

Thankfully, the woman and her baby were not physically harmed during this frightening incident. The police believe that the suspect is of Asian descent and is between the ages of 20 and 35. They are currently on the lookout for him and have described his appearance and clothing in hopes of finding him.

In other news, a popular myth about a rental crisis has been debunked by the Reserve Bank. They reported that the housing market is actually stable and that rental prices have not increased significantly. This is good news for those looking for affordable housing options.
